Strange Medicine

Hello guys, so as i told you in class I had experience with traditional medicine , and im not gonna write about that. I know another story , and its much more interesting. When I was 14, I was living in apartment with my family , and we had a neighbour. He was a really nice person , but only when he was sober . He was addicted to alcohol. Once he drank too much , he was laying on the street, he is lucky, because some people found him and called to the ambulance. He felt very bad, and he is almost died. After that case his relatives decided to treat his addiction to alcohol. They tried a lot of things , and everything didnt help, but one person told them that in the suburb lives one old man , he is kind of shaman. Then they decided to try the last thing , and they went to that shaman. As he said , when then came to shaman, this person who addicted, went inside alone , and shaman started to ask him about his problem. After that shaman started toching his elbow and doing some rituals. At the end shaman gave him some disgusting thing, and he ate it , that's it . I was very surprised, because first of all , i didnt believe him , but then i saw that he wasnt drinking for the first month , then the first year , and now he doesnt drink anymore , he quit . That's unbelievable and so extraordinary. My friends that's true story, leave your opinions about that...

Video Games

Video games have two sides bad and good, but mostly they are good, and not only for children, because children learn lots of things from video games. Also, the bad side of video games that children can learn more violence and they can break down their mentality. I can give u a real example , few years ago i think, one guy always played "Countre-Strike"(game about terrorists vs countres , lots of blood, violence)"but i used to play it,and i really liked it  : ) ", so after this game he broke down his mentality ,and once he killed someone from his family . It was real story. And after i saw this story in news , i dont give permission to my liitle brother to play these kind of games. Of course like this things can happen , but very rarely . On the other hand, children mostly become smarter ,because not all of the games about violence, we have lots of games about sciences, history, and lots of useful things. In my opinion now children mostly play video games than board games, cards, or sports, and i think you agree with me... (if not why, leave your comment) Because video games are much more interesting and much easier. And every day people move on games, because every day technology grows up .

Culture and Etiquette

I wanna compare my country and Canada. First of all, these two Cultures are very different. When I just came to here, it was difficult to get used Canadian Culture, because even the simple things, for example, canadian people usually dont shake hands with each other or dont take off shoes. Actually, i dont know about canadian culture, but these simple things , i think its part of the culture. Also, usually i late when i go somewhere, because in my country we have to come later, even if u came for 2 hours later its ok, but here it's not polite , so u always have to come on time. On the other hand, honestly im not greedy person, and almost all of people in my country very kind, so i can pay for someone or someone can pay for me ,and its ok in my country, but here its strange ,even if you are friends. I had experience with that in my first week in Calgary. I ordered pizza , and i broght it to my neighboor's room, we had party there, then i took one slice , but everybody were looking at me , but they didnt take till i didnt say "come on guys, dont be shy, go ahead" and they asked me "really?, so how much we have to pay" ,so was surprized. In conclusion ,these two cultures are very different , and its difficult to get used, but im ok now , like it says <When in Rome, do as Romanians do> ...

Crime in Calgary

I've been in Calgary for 6 months and I never heard about crime. One of the reasons that I really like Calgary, because it is very safe. For example, in my home country it's much more dangerous, I'm really scared walking along after midnight. When I was in my country , I usually had in my pack a Taser (electric shock machine), I bought it illigal, because I prefer to protect myself if something will happen. I can't buy something like that in Calgary, and it's good that goverment cares about that, of course i don't need it here, because I never had experience with crime here. In conclusion, I can say just one thing that Calgary is the safest place that I have ever visited, and maybe one of the safest places in the world. If you want to check ask GOOGLE.

                                                                    LIFE
We live only once and we can not return to something that has already passed.  So, thats, what I would like to tell you, in this life we must achieve all our goals.  Also, we have to dont put it off until later. I believe that the main purpose of life is just to be a human and no one else, be yourself and just enjoy every moment of your life, so that when we die, the people will have a good opinion of us.
In conclusion, life is a wonderful thing, although sometimes it is difficult.  However we have to do things and exist to overcome these difficulties. This is the zest of our life...

Crime and Punishment

Hello everybody , today im gonna write about a case which happened to my cousin . Last year, at winter, after midnight, my cousin was at home, he was sleeping in his bed and suddenly he heard a noise in another room, he woke up, turned on the lights and went to look whats going on there. He only came into the hall and saw a mess, and he noticed that someone jumped out the window. He immediately called the police and started looking around the room, they lost a laptop, jewelry and something else. After around ten minutes police came, he told everything as it was then they found their footsteps on the snow and went by them. They walked by the footsteps of the thief, and after several blocks they saw the car and three men .It was the same theives, and when the policeman said "stand, dont move," they began to run away, my cousin run after one of them, when he caught up with him, the other thieve with a knife was coming back to my cousin, when he came too close to my cousin, a police officer shot and hit him . At the end they caught two thieves, but one of them did not survive, and third one escaped. Then they went to the police station and questioned the offender. A month later was the court and he went to prison for 8 years.
Thats my story and in my opinion traditional justice system doesnt work in my country ,because my country so corrupted , thats why it is not too important , money solves everything. For example , once, some students killed someone on the street, and then their parents have paid the required amount and took them out of jail . I hope that maybe in future goverment will stop the corruption and we will have RJ ...
